SUNDAY NIGHT LIFE…We have opportunities for the whole family each Sunday evening: Nursery, TeamKid (pre-school), AWANA (5:15 pm start time) and The Flock gathering for Junior High aged students. Effective Parenting in a Defective World, a video series, is taught by Chip Ingram of Walk Thru the Bible ministries. The service opens at 5:30 pm the parenting video begins at 6:00 pm followed by a discussion time.

SAMARITAN'S PURSE - OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD Everyone loves to receive gifts...a simple gift-filled shoe box is a tangible expression of the love of God. We will be collecting filled shoe boxes for Samaritan's Purse on November 16 and 23. Watch for more information about Operation Christmas Child...this is a reminder to start collecting small gifts to fill shoe boxes to share with children around the world to open doors to introduce them to God's greatest gift of all - Jesus Christ.

BECAUSE KIDS MATTER TO GOD...Save the date for our Grand Prix car races Saturday, November 15. Kits are available for purchase along with AWANA Club Registration before and between church services, at the start of club today (5:10 P.M.).

Parent Release Forms will be available for T & T clubber parents to complete for next Sunday’s "McKinney Camp Fire", a special activity
held during our regular club meeting time.

Leadership, Leader-in-Training and Listener positions are needed for each of the clubs.

HARVEST OF HARMONY DINNER AND AUCTION
This benefit auction sponsored by Love INC of Clackamas County is scheduled for Thursday, November 13, 5:00 PM at the Abernethy Center Ballroom, 606 15th Street in Oregon City. There will be great auction items, music from the Celtic Trill and the Singing Christmas Tree along with a buffet dinner, fabulous desserts and all for a great cause in the name of Christ. Together, Love INC and member churches (including DCC), are transforming the lives of the poor in Clackamas

BAPTISM... When Jesus commissioned His disciples to carry on the work He began, He called them to make more disciples who would follow Him. They were to be identified in a particular way - through baptism. The practice of baptism has been a rite by which followers publicly declare their decision to follow Jesus, and unite with others in the community of believers, since the first preaching of the gospel.
